Jeff Wilson created The Jackson-Crockett Company to provide managers with resources to make their organizations successful.
His background in strategy, communication, management and technology gives him an unusual ability to blend these disciplines and create real-world approaches to business challenges.
He is oriented to bottom-line results, focusing an organization on its mission and organizing the resources to achieve it.
Jeff was founding Editor of Nashville Business Journal newspaper and its "de facto Publisher" in the words of one of its owners. During five years at the helm, he led it from startup to profitability in a highly competitive environment. He also created the Nashville Small Business Awards. Other professional experiences include the Associated Press and the staff of the U.S. Senate.
He has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and the Washington Post, among other publications.
The Jackson-Crockett Company specializes in strategic advice and design services for customized databases, particularly using FileMaker Pro. Although based in Tennessee, the miracles of modern technology make it possible to support clients across the Internet without travel.
He is a member of the FileMaker Solutions Alliance.
What about Jackson and Crockett?
Well, Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the United States -- a man devoted to empowering everyday folks. And Davy Crockett died at the Alamo, helping to demonstrate the power of people committed to a cause. Like our founder, they were Tennesseans.
